The BNS is a registered charity (Charity number: 275906). It costs the BNS about £1200 a year just to maintain its various websites, but this is only a minor part of our expenditure - we make funds available to students, purchase numismatic books for the library, publish and distribute the BNJ every year, subsidise special publications, and host a number of meetings and lectures throughout the year.
