Class 5f
Class 5f pennies are identified by their characteristic double crown-band. Coins from this class are fairly common from the London and Canterbury mints, less so for ones from Bury. Some of the coins show a colon of two or three pellets at the start of the obverse legend. They may have a row of thin pellets outside the chin, and may show a pellet between the hair curls either side of the bust. | ![]() |
