Wreath motif crossed by bar with crescent at each end, ring of pellets in each crescent, four-pointed star below./ Lunate horse left, VEP retrograde (conjoined VE) above, six-pointed star behind tail, [C]ORF below. The Whaplode Drove Treasure hoard, formerly known as ‘The Wash’ hoard  was found by Rod Pearce and his son Kevin, examined by Dr Jonathan Williams at the British Museum, declared Treasure by H.M.Coroner and returned to the finders.
