Groat, variety f2. - Edward I. 1272-1307. AR Groat (29mm, 5.23 g, 4h). New coinage, variety f.2. London (Tower) mint. Struck circa 1279. Crowned facing bust within double (plain and beaded) quadrilobe, cinquefoils flanking; flowers in spandrels / Long cross pattée; trefoils in quarters. Cf.
