Henry IV (1399-1413), light coinage, 1412-13, Groat, 3.86g, muled with Richard II transitional reverse die, London, m.m cross pattée, obverse class I (PIa) with henric over ricard, French title omitted, contraction mark after anglie, pellet to left and in-filled annulet to right of crown, trefoil on breast, rev. without slipped trefoil, reverse barred ns (N.1358; S.1726/1681; Potter BNJ 1960; Type I, die 3 obv. Transitional die no.1 rev., Pl. VIII, 4 obv. die dup / Pl. VIII, 1 rev. die dup; Stewartby p.323, P1a/p.261, second period, IV),  Extraordinary detail to bust for this issue, extremely rare. Potter noted 3 class I transitional obverse dies from which just 7 specimens were recorded.
