REX., rev., crowned oval shield dividing crowned CR, CHRISTO.AVSPICE. REGNO., mm Lion (Bull 570 (this coin); Besly 3-C; Brooker 1084a ; Hawkins 6; N.2314; S.2868).  Weight 14.45 grams. The Obverse showing characteristics of so many York Halfcrowns where the the die is slightly off centre.  This is the illustrated coin for its Bull reference.
