S.2200 Type IVa - Henry VII (1485-1509), Facing Bust issue, Second period, Groat, class IVa, mm. greyhound’s head (no.2) on obv., rose on rev., crown with single arch of 4 crockets, reads AGLI Z FR, double saltires before CIVI, saltire before LON and after DON, 2.79g/8h (P & W IVa, cross-end 9; cf. SCBI Ashmolean 413 obv.; N 1706a; S 2200). A very rare combination of marks for the class, not represented in Shuttlewood. Provenance: North Yorkshire Moors Collection (Marvin Lessen), ex H.M.
