Presentation of the North Book Prize to Lord Stewartby

At the meeting of the Society on 25 January 2011 it was announced that the 2010 North book prize had been awarded to Lord Stewartby for his volume on English Coins 1180-1551 (London, 2009). This major new survey addresses the detailed complexity of late medieval English numismatics with masterful clarity, demonstrating a lifetime of expertise.

A special reception to celebrate the award of the North prize to Lord Stewartby was held at the premises of Spink on 22 March.
