Reece Period 22 402-455 AD PAS Info
Theodosius II [402-50], Constantine III (western emperor) [407-11], Priscus Attalus [409-10], Jovinus [411- 3], Johannes [423-5], Valentinian III [425-55]
Coins of this Reece period are the scarcest of British Roman finds, with only 41 examples documented on the PAS database by the end of November 2019. The finds do show that although the Roman legions were withdrawn in AD 409, there was still some coin use in Britain after that date.
